Why do I need to verify my account?

Account verification is for your safety and security and for compliance with applicable law relating to anti-money laundering and countering terrorist financing. Our verification process is designed to safeguard the integrity of our social gaming operation. We need to be sure that:

  • we know who you are;
  • at times, it is you playing on Sweeptastic; and 
  • any purchases of Lucky Coins are not made from the proceeds of crime. 

It is a common requirement in many industries that operate online. As Sweeptastic is a sweepstakes social casino that is only available to residents of the United States who are over 18 years of age, we need to verify your eligibility before sweepstakes prizes can be redeemed by you. The details that we require for verification includes your name, address, date of birth, Social Security Number (SSN), bank account details and proof of identification. All information obtained is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Depending on the information provided, we may require further information to fully verify your identity. This process ensures that everyone playing on Sweeptastic is a real and eligible player and it protects the integrity of our social gaming operation against fraud, money laundering and countering terrorist financing.


How do I verify my account?

You can do the verification process at any time by going to the ‘My Account’ page in the left hand navigation, clicking on the ‘Account’ tab and hitting ‘Get Verified’. The verification process can also be initiated from the ‘Get Coins’ tab or the first time you go to the ‘Redeem’ tab.

Once you have started the verification process, you can follow the instructions on screen. You will need to upload a government-issued photo ID and take a selfie with your camera. The process is straightforward and takes only a couple of minutes. If you encounter any issues during the verification process, please email [email protected].

After you have submitted your documents, our Customer Support team will review your account. The team will inform you if any further documents are required. You will receive an email update with the verification status as it changes.


Why are you asking for more personal information when I have already verified my account?

We are required to adhere to applicable law relating to anti-money laundering and countering terrorist financing. In line with best practice, to ensure the integrity of Sweeptastic,  we have certain internal triggers that require us to ask you for some further information. We will do our best to ensure that this is a seamless and quick process.


Do I need to provide my bank details?

You only need to provide bank details if you want to redeem money prizes. When you want to redeem your prizes, we will require your bank details so we can send you the prize. You can send us your bank details at any time by going to the ‘My Account’ page in the left hand navigation, clicking on the ‘Account’ tab and hitting ‘Add Bank Details’. You will need to input your bank details and upload your bank statement. You will only need to complete this bank details process once.
