My first look at Vegas Coins
On opening Vegas Coins for the first time my attention was drawn to the style of the site and the modern logo. This is one of the more stylish and uncluttered sweepstakes casino designs I’ve seen and I like that it doesn’t feel too overwhelming. I think the registration button could be clearer though, and I wasn’t impressed by the “customer reviews” that the landing page has.
Below you can see a simple step-by-step process on how to get started here:
How to register
Assessing the Vegas Coins welcome bonus
I’ve played at tons of sweepstakes casinos and one of the main features they have in common is the welcome bonus. This is usually a lump sum of Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins that new customers get after creating an account. In the case of Vegas Coins, there is a relatively small welcome bonus of 5,000 Gold Coins and 1 Sweeps Coin, no Vegas Coins promo code required.
I say small, as from my years of experience, I consider an average welcome bonus to be 7,500 GC and 2.5 SC. This means that Vegas Gems falls short for both the GC and SC. When I registered here, the playability for the welcome bonus wasn’t amazing, and I soon found out that I was waiting for the daily login bonus to get more virtual currencies to play again.
| Bonus Offer | Get Bonus | Bonus Code | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Social Casino | Sign up and Get 5000 Gold Coins and 1 SC FREE! | – | |
| Social Casino | Daily 1000 Gold Coins and 0.2 SC for free! | – |
This site also has a couple of other promotions including a daily login bonus of 1,000 GC and 0.20 SC, and a mail-in request bonus of 5 SC. Other than that, some important bonuses appear to be missing like a VIP program and referral scheme.
You have the option to redeem your SC if you meet the eligibility criteria. You must verify your ID and pass a KYC check to be able to redeem your SC. You must also have a minimum balance of 100 SC, and to have met the 1x playthrough requirement for bonus SC. Redemption processing times are pretty slow though and you can expect to wait up to 10 days.

I want a sweepstakes casino to be easy to use, so, for this Vegas Coins review I spent time assessing the website and mobile website to see how they work. There are ups and downs for usability, and let’s start with the downs. There’s no mobile app which means that you have to access the site on a mobile browser like Chrome. Also, I think some of the site features such as the customer testimonials and feedback form simply aren’t needed and don’t add anything useful.
Now onto the good bits. Overall, I like the style and theme of the site. It looks modern, clean, and uncluttered and I think that the simplistic design will be appealing to new players who don’t want to be overwhelmed by heaps of graphics and flashy banners. I also like that the registration process is incredibly easy and that you can get started here within a few minutes.
The game library layout is OK, and while it’s not the most logical I’ve seen, you can search through the available categories using an array of filters, or the search function. The performance for both the desktop and mobile website are also both acceptable, with fast loading times and games that are optimized either for desktop or mobile play.
Accepted payment methods at Vegas Coins
Vegas Coins is a sweepstakes casino which means that real money deposits and gameplay aren’t allowed. What you can do though, is purchase Gold Coin packages. These are completely optional, but I think they have OK value and can help you keep your GC balance topped up. At the time of writing this Vegas Coins US review, available GC purchasing methods included Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.

| Free | Instant | – | |

Is the Vegas Coins support effective?
So far, my Vegas Coins ratings have been a mixed bag, but one area that this site shines is customer support. I think it has an effective support setup and you can get help via three different methods – a live chat, email support, or a US telephone line. I advise sticking with either the live chat or the telephone line as I found the email response times to be relatively slow, whereas you can speak to someone via the other methods virtually instantly.
From my testing, it appears that the live chat and support line are available 24/7, and whenever I used them I was able to speak to someone. The support reps were knowledgeable about the site and were able to help me with my promotion and account management queries.
Is Vegas Coins legit?
Yes! I am fully confident that Vegas Coins is a legitimate sweepstakes site that complies with US sweepstakes regulations. It does not allow any type of real money deposits, and you can only ever play the games using virtual currencies.
On top of that, no GC purchase is required to play any of the games, and you can always get free GC and SC. Site security is also more than adequate as you connect with a HTTPS connection, and are protected by SSL encryption.
Is there a Vegas Coins VIP program?
I spent ages compiling my Vegas Coins reviews, and one key aspect I found missing was a VIP program. At this point in time, I could find any type of loyalty scheme or VIP program which was highly disappointing. Most social casinos have at least something that rewards loyal players.
The only other real things you could count as rewards are the 1,000 GC and 0.20 SC daily login bonus, and the 5 SC mail-in bonus which are available to all customers.
Vegas Coins specialities
In all honesty, I don’t think this sweepstakes casino has any unique features. It follows a very generic formula which I’ve seen countless other social casinos follow, including its promotions, games, and software developers.
The only thing that could come close to a unique selling point is the fact that it features live dealer games from ICONIC21. Many other sweepstakes casinos don’t have live games at all, and ICONIC21 is one of the best providers of this type of game.
What to expect for gaming at Vegas Coins?
Gaming is the main area I think Vegas Coins excels and it does have a solid selection of over 1,200+ games when I last counted. These are provided by developers I am familiar with such as Red Rake Gaming, 3 Oaks Gaming, ICONIC21, KA Gaming, and Hacksaw Gaming. I would like to see games from Relax Gaming added though.
In terms of categories, you’ve got slots, jackpots, table games, live dealers, instant-win arcade games and scratchcards. Each category has decent coverage, with slots making up the mainstay of the library. I’ve enjoyed playing the classic Hold and Win slots from 3 Oaks Gaming here, and the Hacksaw Gaming slots are also great fun.
My top picks are the live dealer games and single player table games though, as I generally love playing blackjack and baccarat, so games like Gravity Blackjack from ICONIC21 are right up my street.

My Vegas Coin Experience
My personal experience with Vegas Coins was both exciting and frustrating. The excitement came from trying out the cool selection of single player table games and live dealer games. However, this was tempered by my frustration at the seeming lack of Gold Coin and Sweeps Coin promotions.
Is Vegas Coins worth your time?
That completes my Vegas Coins review and I hope that everyone has a better understanding of the site’s features and its strengths and weaknesses. Currently, this operator loses points in my book due to the limitations of its promotions. If changes are made in the future, I want to see a larger welcome bonus and daily login bonus, plus other promos like a referral scheme and loyalty scheme or VIP program.
Until then, Vegas Coins is just an OK sweepstakes casino – not one of the best, but certainly not one of the worst either. It does at least have a decent game selection that I think most people will enjoy, and if you do sign up here using one of our links, I’d say you should start with the live dealer games.
