Stake.us Free SC: How Stake Cash Works In 2026
If you’ve come across Stake Cash but are unsure how it works, it’s not just you. It’s normal on your first interaction with the platform. We’ll tell you what it is and how to get Stake.us free SC.
Before we go further, SC is just one of two virtual currencies you will use on the Stake.us site. The good part is that you don’t have to do much to get the first set. When you apply the promo code LUCKJUMP at signup, you get 560K free Gold Coins, 56 SC and 3.5% Rakeback.

What is Stake Cash
Stake Cash (SC) is one of Stake.us free virtual coins. Like its counterpart, Gold Coins (GC), it is useful for playing free casino-style games on the site. If you have visited other sweepstakes casinos, you’ve come across the equivalent of Stake Cash called Sweeps Coins. Both are the same in functionality, just different names. While we’ve said SC and GC serve the same goal, which is free casino-style gaming, they have distinct features. This is the easiest way to differentiate them:
| Stake Cash (SC) | Gold Coins (GC) |
|---|---|
| Provided only through bonus claims on the platform | Always available via bonus claims and optional GC bundle purchases |
| Used for playing games in sweepstakes mode | Specifically for fun play |
| Can be exchanged for gifts and prizes | No support for gift exchange or anything outside gaming |
| Attracts playthrough before redemption | No playthrough applies |
When you choose a game to play, you can always switch between GC and SC mode, based on your preference. Most new players often start with GC, just to test the platform and see how things work. Once they feel comfortable, they then move to SC mode to play for prizes.
We need to state that the fact that you can redeem SC for prizes doesn’t make it valuable in the outside world.

How Stake.us SC redemption works
If you have read our Stake.us review, you’ll have seen that there are strict conditions around exchanging SC for prizes. These include meeting a 3x playthrough requirement, which is twice as high in comparison to what we’ve seen at other sweepstakes sites. Also, the minimum redemption threshold is 5 SC, which is noteworthy as it is the lowest limit we have encountered.
“Playthrough” here means that if you already have 5 SC from a bonus, for instance, you have to play with it 3 times. After the third time playing with that 5 SC, you can then request to convert the proceeds to prizes. Remember, even the proceeds should be no less than 5 SC.
The other important term is completing KYC. As much as there is no regulator overseeing sweepstakes brands like Stake.us, they need to ensure that prizes go to real people. That’s why you have to complete the KYC process. For this, you need two main documents:
- Proof of identity: You need a government-issued ID card like your international passport or driver’s license. It has to be clear and still valid, with your full name, age, and other biodata.
- Proof of address: Since the Stake.us site is not available in some US states; they need to be sure that you have joined from a supported region. This demands uploading a document with your name and residential address. You can use a utility bill from the last three months or a lease agreement.
Ensure that the copies you upload are clear so that your KYC can be completed quickly. You can upload as a PDF, take a photo with all the corners showing, or scan the document. Once they verify and approve, you will be notified and approved for your first redemption request.
Applying for redemption—step-by-step guide
You already know how Stakes Cash works and what to do before you can request redemption. It is now time to go over the actual redemption process.
- Login to your account and click on the wallet icon
- Choose the redemption option to open the form
- Type in the number of SC you will be converting to a cash prize
- Since Stake.us only supports redemption via crypto, check the list of cryptocurrencies and choose the one you prefer. Paste your wallet address and complete your request
We have played and redeemed SC at some of the leading sweepstakes casinos, but we are yet to see one with a faster redemption processing time. Stake.us converts your SC to cash prizes the same day and sends it to your wallet. Stake.us redemptions also include gift cards and merchandise.

Claim free SC for a shot at prize redemptions
SC is a definition of small but special. They are virtual currencies with no value outside of Stake.us. Yet, they are your gateway to physical prizes even though you have to play with them a total of three times. Redeeming a significant amount of SC winnings requires patience because they come in tiny amounts. As such, it is important that you only use them in games that you truly enjoy and have a chance at benefiting from.
