Yellow Social Interactive, owner of Pulsz Casino and Pulszbingo, recently agreed to a $14 million settlement in a longstanding lawsuit. Players in six states have until November 30, 2026, to choose the cash election option in the settlement.
The case itself is Robinson v. Yellow Social Interactive, Ltd., which alleged that the operator’s virtual coin sales violated state gambling laws in those states. Sites like Pulsz have faced similar lawsuits over the past couple of years.
Yellow Social denies any wrongdoing, but agreed to the settlement to end the litigation.

Players who made virtual coin purchases in six states during certain time windows are part of the settlement: Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Ohio.
The two sides agreed to the settlement on August 31, 2026. The purchase window varies by state, with the end date in each case being August 31.
For Alabama, the window runs from March 8, 2022, to August 31, 2026. For Tennessee, the window of time begins on November 12, 2022. For Kentucky, it begins on June 29, 2023.
For Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Ohio, the dates are the same: February 19, 2024, to August 31, 2026.
If players who fit those activity windows take action before November 30, they can receive cash as part of the settlement. If they do not take action, they automatically receive Gold Coins.
Players who take the “Cash Election” option receive a cash payout of 23% of net purchases for the periods above. Depending on how many players opt for the cash payout, the payout amount might be reduced pro rata.
This option requires players to take action, fill out the proper forms, and provide proof of activity. Players can also choose to opt out of the settlement. If they agree to the settlement, they give up the right to sue YSI for their sweepstakes casino activity.
To take action, readers should visit the Robinson vs Yellow Social Interactive website.
Those who do not take steps for the Cash Election option remain eligible for automatic Gold Coins. By default, they’ll receive 27% of net purchases in Gold Coins added to their existing player account.
Whichever choice players make, the judge will approve the final settlement in the case on December 31, 2026. Upon that date, funds will be distributed to players from the $14 million settlement.

The law firm Bedford, Rogers, & Bowling, P.C. first filed suit in the Yellow Social Interactive case in the State Circuit Court of Franklin County, Alabama. Alabama District Judge Brian P. Hamilton was the presiding judge in the case.
One main plaintiff in each of the six states was named: Leshaun Robinson, Luke Whitney, Carissa Pyles, Thomas Veil, Sharon King, and Steven Davis. Each claimed they suffered losses on the Pulsz Casino or Pulszbingo platforms because the virtual-coin game mechanic violated their state’s law.
The Robinson v. Yellow Social Interactive website gives confusing information on the filing date, so the date the original lawsuit was filed is unclear. Players can call 1-800-667-6759 for more information on the settlement.
