Following Blazesoft’s decision to end Sweeps Coins gameplay in Illinois in early June 2026, sites like Yay, Sportzino, and Zula are unavailable for sweeps gaming in the state. Fortunately, there are still several Illinois sweeps casino alternatives you can visit.
Blazesoft’s move comes in response to the cease-and-desist letters sent out by the Illinois Gaming Board and the Office of the Illinois Attorney General earlier in the year. However, sweepstakes casinos are still legal in the state. Keep reading to find out more about the Blazesoft situation and top sites where you can still play in the Prairie State.

Blazesoft removes Sweeps Coins but still hangs around in Illinois
Several Blazesoft social casinos were among the 65 operators who received cease-and-desist letters in February 2026, in the IGB’s effort to crack down on sweepstakes casinos in the state. As a result, the company has decided to make changes to its operations and end Sweeps Coin (SC) gameplay permanently in Illinois.
All 7 of Blazesoft’s sweeps casinos are affected by this new development. That includes Yay Casino, Zula Casino, Luck Party, American Luck, Fortune Wins, Sportzino, and WinBonanza. Illinois players lost access to SC gameplay at these sites on June 5, 2026, and the grace period for redemptions ended on June 7, 2026. Both dates have now passed, and players in the Prairie State can no longer play in sweepstakes mode at any Blazesoft casinos.
However, Blazesoft has opted not to leave the state completely, so the Gold Coin (GC) side of the model is still active. And you can technically still play at these sites just for fun.

Where can you get your sweeps action now that Blazesoft has limited the function?
While Blazesoft has opted out of sweepstakes in the state, several operators are running business as usual. And despite the IGB’s enforcement, Illinois does not currently have a statewide ban in place. So you can still play legally at several sweeps sites.
B-Two Services casinos like Hello Millions, McLuck, and Jackpota are still live in the state. So are top brands like CrownCoins Casino, Pulsz, and High 5 Casino. RealPrize and its sister site LoneStar are among the best legal sweepstakes casinos for Illinois players. VGW is still running all their brands as well. So you can play at Chumba Casino, LuckyLand Slots, and more.
At each of these sites, Sweeps Coin action is still possible. You can play and win with SC and redeem cash and gift prizes when you meet the redemption terms. If you’re looking to go over to any of these sites, you can click through the relevant banners on this page. New player sign up offers and more bonuses are available for you to claim. Sites like CrownCoins and McLuck are among the leading brands in the industry, and will deliver a comparable, if not better, experience than Blazesoft sites.
Who else has left Illinois
Since the crackdown, some operators have quickly bowed out of the state to avoid any legal risks. These include Smiles Casino, WOW Vegas, Rolla Casino, Spin Saga, Rolling Riches, and Carnival Citi. Stake.us is also no longer available. The site has moved Illinois accounts to redeem-only mode on May 19, but all other features, including game access, purchases, and promotions, are off the table.
Blazesoft’s suite of social casinos is the latest addition to the list. But with regulators watching so closely, they’re likely not the last.
Take advantage of the legal Illinois sweeps casino alternatives
Despite becoming a tougher market for sweepstakes gaming, Illinois still has lots of social casino brands that you can join and enjoy the complete experience – both Gold Coin play and Sweeps Coins play. Most operators will inform players directly via email regarding any major changes. Brands that choose to exit or limit their approach, just like Blazesoft, will give you deadlines to withdraw your balances.
Until then, you can play freely at any sites offering sweepstakes games. The brands we recommend are the top-rated ones from our experts’ desks, and when you sign up through our links, you’ll get to collect a generous sign up bonus with no promo codes needed.
