Crown Coins is now the sweepstakes casino with the most online searches, according to Black’s Brand Accumulated Power (BAP) data analytics research. The brand recently surged past Chumba Casino for the number one spot in the search data.
According to the BAP data, Crown Coins holds 23.32% of the demand as of August 12, 2026. Chumba Casino remains second with 16.6%.
As recently as July 28, Crown Coins was still 2.8% behind Chumba Casino in global search traffic for sweepstakes casinos.
Virtual Gaming Worlds (VGW) launched Chumba Casino in 2012. By 2016, the sweepstakes site became the top operator in the industry.
According to the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), the primary federal regulator that oversees online gambling in Australia, Chumba Casino generated $3.7 billion in revenue in the financial year ending June 30, 2025.
Recent reports estimate that Chumba Casino’s revenues might contract by $1 billion in the coming year, but it is still a massive revenue generator.
Meanwhile, Crown Coins has surged in 2026. The site recently announced Crown Rips, which allows players to use Sweepstakes Coins to purchase digital cards.
Because such purchases involve speculation on the value of collector sets instead of traditional games of chance like slots, blackjack, or roulette, Crown Rips might not be considered a banned activity under a raft of new state-initiated sweepstakes casino bans.

In the case of Crown Rips, the mystery box does not include battle cards and virtual coins like Card Crush. Instead, it offers packs of sports trading cards or Pokémon cards.
Crown Coins does not have a licensing arrangement with sports or Pokémon trading card manufacturers, but buys the digital cards themselves on the secondary market.
While online search traffic does not mean Crown Coins has surpassed Chumba Casino in revenue, it is an indication that Crown Rips may have stoked increased interest in the sweepstakes casino.

It is thus a measurement of consumer demand across tracked operators in specific online gaming markets.
VGW is currently adjusting to the wave of online sweepstakes casino bans. It recently announced that LuckyLand Slots, Chumba Casino’s sister site, was winding down operations. August 24 will be the last date that players can redeem SC for real-world value.
